Ajax Render

This render is a bronze of "Ajax" rendered using C4D's new advanced render engine.

Sponza Atrium

The Sponza Atrium, is a model created by Marko Dabrovic at RNA Studio, It was donated to the public for a radiosity competition in 2002, the Sponza Atrium scene has since become one of the most widely used 3D scenes for testing global illumination and radiosity due to it's specific architectural structure which is particularly challenging for the application of global illumination lighting techniques.

I used it to test drive and practice using the updated render engine (AR 3) in the new release of Cinema 4d (R11).

Colour Perception

As we get older, our ability to discriminate colour hues becomes more difficult, so here an online test of your ability to distinguish colour, good luck I’ve managed to score 15, but allowing for age, that’s not so bad.

Take the test here:

Total War Poster

I haven’t updated my blog for quite a while and feel a little guilty about it, I haven’t been idle and just completed another project, this one is a games poster based on the “Total War” franchise, the basic project concept was to give it a movie poster feel, the knight was modelled and rendered in C4D as usual and most of the compositing was then done in Photoshop.
